Man beaten in street dies at K.H.M.H.

A man who was found beaten in Belize City on August 4th died at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital this morning. Talbert Lamb, also known as “Baby Brains” or “Tall Boy” was found by a police patrol at the corner of Pickstock Street and New Road with a swollen head. He was incoherent and slipped into unconsciousness at the hospital. No one has been arrested in connection with the attack. Members of the tourism industry tell News Five Lamb frequently posed as a tour operator in order to gain the confidence of tourists and relieve them of their cash. Police confirm that he was a known con artist and had served time in Hattieville Prison.
