Gospel group performs for Hattieville inmates

While the prison’s only engaged couple was making plans for the future, the other inmates were invited to a two-hour concert by the Celebrant Singers of California. Jorge Meliton Auil is the President of the Full Gospel Men Fellowship in Belize, which is facilitating the visit.

“The Celebrant Singers is the Christian organization based in California which started about twenty-two years ago when its founder, John Stemkoskis, heard a message from God, telling him to go and spread throughout the world, the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
Right now, currently they have seven teams which travel throughout the world. They have visited over eighty countries and this team is visiting Central America at the moment and they are visiting us.”
Q: “How long will they be in the country?”
Jorge Meliton Auil
“Well they have been here since Saturday and they will be here until Thursday. We had a concert with the Parish Hall, at different churches. We visited the prison, the Youth Enhancement Academy. Tomorrow we go to sing for the B.D.F. and the police at the Airport Camp and then we finish off with a concert in Belmopan before they go off on Thursday.”
Tonight the Celebrant Singers will be in concert at the Memorial Park.
