Frontline Tourism Workers Get Enhanced Service Training
This week, frontline workers who work in tourism at the Philip Goldson International Airport and the cruise ports are getting customer service training to improve the quality of service they provide to tourists. The sessions are part of the Belize Tourism Board’s Destination Ambassador’s program which aims to strengthen the recovery of the tourism industry. Today Tourism Minister, Anthony Mahler, said he is excited about what this training can do for Belize.
Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism
“This is a good time to prepare our frontline people and to take the level of service for Belize to another level. Actually I had dinner with the trainer last night and she’s excited to go into those organizations and provide and impart her knowledge and her experiences. She has a top-rated trainer throughout the entire world and I think she’s going to do an excellent job.”
