Airlines Restart Seasonal Flights to Belize From the US and Canada

There is a bright spot for tourism today as two airlines resume seasonal flights to Belize. This morning WestJet landed from Toronto, Canada. This carrier will be servicing Belize until April 30, 2022.  According to the Belize Tourism Board, this is happening just as restrictions for leisure travel have been relaxed both in Canada and the US. Southwest Airlines will resume its daily flights to Belize from Houston on Sunday, November 7. Their flight from Denver starts up again November 20. Alaska Airlines begins its new route to Belize this month and Frontier Airlines sets down in December. SunCountry will also return in December. Currently Belize traveler’s options include American Airlines, United Airlines, COPA, TAG and Tropic Air which ash direct flights to and from Cancun, Mexico.
