Five charged for Police Station gun theft
Five men have been charged in connection with the theft of a number of weapons from the Eastern Division police Station. Late this evening news five was informed that James Hyde of Fabers Road has been charged with handling stolen goods, and Kareem Young has been charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm. Three construction workers who had been part of the crew renovating the station, Norman Reyes Junior, Earl Bodden and Wayne Webster have been charged with conspiracy and burglary. The police say the theft of seven firearms and ammunition occurred sometime in Late June or early July. The items were being held as evidence for a number of pending court cases.
