Buru Banton performs in Belize

Jamaica gets a lot of bad press for its crime, but it has always gotten rave music revues. Today News Five had a visitor straight from Kingston whom has a musical message for Belizeans. Reggae artist Buru Banton, arrived on Thursday with Massive B sound’s Jaba and Bobby Konders to give a one-night show tonight in Belize City. According to Banton, who got his D.J. name from childhood, he has creative ways of getting lyrical inspiration.

“You see the lyrics now because some people really want to be a DJ and it not that easy because it really not easy this ting is an in born concept cause if tell you the truth I don’t know where the lyrics them come from it just come like that cause like the sweetest place to build a lyrics is in my bathroom yeah it is easy because you get a more vibes inside there and you know a empty room give you like an echo sound so when me inna mi bathroom and hear the echo sound so like when me inna the bathroom and me seh Wow Wow and you hear the echo back it give me more vibes fi go on like you deh pan a sound.”
