Carnal knowledge cases in Stann Creek

Two men from the Stann Creek district have been charged with having sex with minors, and one of the girls was only eleven years old. On Tuesday a woman in red bank village took her eleven-year-old daughter to a medical officer after she saw vamp marks on the child’s neck. He confirmed she had been molested and police arrested twenty-year old farmer Higinio Cho. A fisherman from Caye Caulker has also been arrested for an incident in Stann Creek last month. Emiliano Novelo Junior has been charged with rape and unlawful carnal knowledge following a report that he raped a 15 Mexican patient at La Patriarche drug rehabilitation center in June.
