Lucas Hoare is Found Stabbed to Death in Cane Field in Xaibe

The lifeless body of thirty-three-year-old Lucas Robert Hoare was recovered from a cane field in Xaibe Village, Corozal District this morning. Hoare was reported missing by his sibling on Monday. According to Phillip McCauley, he heard someone over at his brother’s residence in the Sosa Layout of Corozal Town on Monday evening around six-thirty. This morning, upon making checks at his brother’s home, McCauley discovered that his brother was missing, so was his double cab Isuzu pickup.  Around eight-thirty a.m., Hoare was found with multiple stab wounds to his body. A police investigation into the homicide has been launched.
