Teacher Loses Life after Vehicle Overturns in the North
Up north in the Corozal District, there was also a road traffic accident in Cristo Rey Village that claimed the life of a teacher. On Friday evening, Ditmar Ruiz was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup in the village when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle overturned trapping Ruiz inside. The National Fire Service in the north had to be called in with the jaws of life to retrieve Ruiz who died on the spot. Police are investigating.
