Police Investigation of Marco Vidal Wrapping Up: Suspension Could be Recommended

One of those in police custody in relation to Sunday’s drug plane landing is a   Corporal who worked under Assistant Commissioner of Police, Marco Vidal. Vidal, as you will remember, had stepped down as Commander of Operations after the November fifth drug plane bust in Bladen, Toledo. At that time, an internal investigation had begun into Vidal’s possible knowledge, if not involvement, in that last drug bust. Today Commissioner Williams gave us an update on that situation.

“We are conducting an internal investigation into Mr. Vidal. That internal investigation should be concluded today and the findings will be submitted to the CEO for the CEO to make recommendation to the Services Commission for Mr. Vidal’s suspension pending the possible hearing of this very matter against him.”
