Tools Needed: Clean Up Projects Asking for Supplies
And while the Intervention Unit and the City Council are joining forces for the clean-up, more tools are needed on the ground. Jermaine Garnett is making an appeal for donations of items like wheel barrows, rakes and shovels.

“From the outside community, right now we got all the lee group deh would ah wah beg anyone ah deh, Habet and Habet, Benny’s, anyone ah deh, would ah wah beg fih a couple shovel, wheel barrow and a lee gas and thing, cause we got lee rake and thing fih just rake up the spot and get the spot clean up and thing. Maybe we could try sih if deh could give a helping hand in anyway. We nuh the ask fih the cash wise, maybe deh could buy a shovel, drop it off to the men deh on the streets, a lee rake and give deh fih mek ih try get the place clean up a lee faster, because member the donation lee smallish. Same way we could try ask fih a lee help mek we could continue on.”
