Viral Video Lands San Pedro Teacher in Hot Water for Abusive Language
A San Pedro teacher is tonight in big trouble after she was recorded during a virtual session verbally abusing her students. A video surfaced online overnight and went viral. For about one minute and thirteen seconds, the female teacher from the San Pedro High School could be heard ranting because students were not giving feedback to a question on gravity. Today, the high school issued a release saying that it has launched an investigation on the incident involving alleged teacher misconduct during online class. The release goes on to say that as an educational institution, it does not support any form of student abuse by any member of faculty, staff or vice versa. “We are going to have classes at the end of the day because it looks like all of you guys are not – what the hell are you guys doing when I am giving you the chance to do yo work?”

“I know I haven’t called you yet darling, but I am a tired that it is only you and two of your guys – it’s not that I am tired of you guys, please don’t take it that way. I love the fact that you guys are always presenting, but the rest ah den yah stupid pikney right yah soh – sorry fi say it like that – but I am calling unu. This evening the Ministry of Education issued a statement saying they are aware of the case and the investigation, and assures the public the matter will be quote “addressed swiftly and appropriately.” They remind teachers and staff to always maintain professional and ethical standards and that physical, verbal or other forms of abuse will not be condoned. At the same time they urge mental health support for students and teachers during these trying pandemic times.
