Cash and computer recovered during police search

Hattieville police discovered over twelve thousand dollars cash and stolen items during a search at the home of Dean Gillett on Tuesday. Almost five hundred dollars was found on Dean Gillett while Eric Flowers of Punta Gorda had almost seven thousand in cash. Leonard Gillett of Hattieville had seven hundred dollars and Travis Andrews also of Hattieville had six hundred and twenty dollars. The police recovered a SYSCOMP 233 Megahertz computer and five cellular phones. The Income Tax Department was called in to make an assessment and over six thousand dollars was seized from the four men. While three of the men were released, Dean Gillett was detained pending charges of handling stolen goods.
