News Five Celebrates 30 Years of Live Newscast
Well it is official tonight: on this day, December 9, 1991 News Five made its first live broadcast of Belizean news and we have continued each weeknight, excepting major holidays, ever since. Earlier this week we brought you a few nostalgic looks back and how we created our program, but tonight we have the current crew. Some of the faces you will recognize, while others are people whose jobs almost never put them in front of the camera. So here we are “Making the News” in 2021.
