Fatal stabbing on Curasow Street

A fight on Curasow Street in Belize City resulted in a twenty year old man being stabbed to death. Edward Figueroa and Miguel Heredia were in the company of three young women when they were attacked by three men around 3:30 Saturday morning. Figueroa, who was stabbed in the abdomen, was rushed to the K.H.M.H. but died around 2 p.m. Heredia was stabbed in the chest but according to police was treated and released. Two suspects, Sidney Neal and Kevin Bailey, also known as “Kevin Keith Sutherland” were taken into custody and will be charged with murder and deadly means of harm. A third man is still being sought.
