Truck crush man in Orange Walk
A fatal traffic accident in Orange Walk on Thursday afternoon has left one dead and another in serious condition. According to police, Twenty-seven year old Teodoro Cowo and his passenger twenty-three year old Salvador Cocom were transporting gravel in a red and white truck on the Blue Creek Road, when the brakes failed. Cowo lost control of the vehicle and tried to jump out, but the truck overturned crushing him underneath. Cocom is hospitalized in Orange Walk Hospital.
