“Apple for Kids” Belize Camping Experience Fundraiser
Belize Camping Experiences is once again carrying out its largest fundraiser for the year. The Apple for Kids end of the year project garners the funds BCE needs to engage Belizean children in life changing spiritual and life skills activities. We stopped by Caribbean Chicken in Belize City today to find out more and how viewers can lend support by purchasing a box of premium apples.
Ozny Torres, Missionary, Belize Camping Experience
“It is a fund raising project. This year we are doing it for the third time. We want to do it every year. It is a fund raising project for BCE, the Belize Camping Experience. It is a ministry that we work with kids and youths, and we want to be able to invite everybody to be a part of a vision where Belize changes Belize. This is how we use the apples. Every person that buys a box is supporting that, because that helps BCE run the programs with kids, programs, and summers camps. We even started doing our annual children’s production. So this will help, if you buy at our apples for kid’s project.”

“So obviously the funds contribute to a significant portion of your work, so it is very important.”

“I would say this is one of our biggest project throughout the year that will help us be able to continue the good work we want to do to make a positive impact of the lives of our children here in the city. We got the apples this week. You can call us at 614-3579, or you can come see us here at the Caribbean Chicken in Belize City. Another have of our team is at the Caribbean Chicken in Belmopan. We have boxes for sale. Each box is going for a hundred and twenty dollars. We have red apples and green apples, and they are all premium medium size apples. And they vary from a range of one twenty five to one seventy five, and they are all ranged in medium. We also have a special offer that came, that we were to expecting, but we large red apples, and those range from a hundred to eighty. Those are the really big ones and those are going for a hundred and forty dollars.”
