Charges filed in bus accident death
A private investigator was arrested and charged today in connection with the death of a man who was run over by a bus. Kirk Yard is accused of pushing forty year old Herman McKoy off a Novelo’s Bus on June eighteenth. McKoy, who was running with a group of men to catch the bus as it pulled out of the terminal, fell and was run over by the rear wheel. He suffered a fractured pelvis, internal bleeding and died on Tuesday. Yard, who was charged with manslaughter and causing death by careless conduct has been remanded to prison.
