Belize CitCo’s 2022 Agenda: Infrastructural Development

Mayor Wagner is optimistic going into 2022, saying that at top of the agenda is infrastructural development for Belize City.

“More infrastructure, really enhancing the streets, making them decent streets where motorists and pedestrians can walk and not have these lot of potholes. That is the focus; that is our agenda for 2022 to really deal with the infrastructure of the city.  I am very optimistic that 2022, if we stick with the Ministry of Health plan, if we stick with all the protocols coming out, that we should begin to get past this. I know it is raging right now in the U.S. and in other parts of the world. Thankfully, all the reports coming in is that that variant may not be as severe as the delta, but we still have to ensure that we maintain our guard and keep our guard up.”
