B.T.I.A. elects new officers
Over the weekend, the Belize Tourism Industry Association held its annual general meeting at the newly constructed Conference Center at the Belize Yacht Club in San Pedro. During the meeting, a new executive board was elected. Replacing previous president Susan Fuller is Ida Sauceda, of Pelican Beach Resort. Her executive officers include Trevor Roe from G.A. Roe and Sons as first Vice President, Mike Panton, from Chateau Caribbean, as second Vice President, Jim Scott, from Journey’s End as Secretary and Ramon Cervantes, of the Belize Marine Terminal, as Treasurer.
