Vladimir Puck Challenges Outcome of A.G.M
However, C.S.C.P.A Chairman, Vladimir Puck, and his Board of Directors do not plan to vacate the office without a fight. Puck insists that the meeting held over the weekend in Corozal was illegal. While Puck was unable to verify whether the meeting met quorum, credible information to News Five is that the meeting did not. Puck, however, noted that of those that were in attendance at the meeting, thirty four, including Uk, have been non-members of the Association since 2019. Of the five hundred and ninety six members of the association, Puck argues that he still enjoys majority support. He spoke to the media via zoom this afternoon.
Vladimir Puck, Chairman, C.S.C.P.A
“As far as I am aware, it is somewhat a special meeting that Mr. Uk, a none member from the C.S.C.P.A, conducted without proper notification and procedures concerning the way it suppose to be conducted under normal circumstance. Also, that number of persons yesterday, there is thirty four cane farmers that does not form a part of the C.S.C.P.A registration, which also took part in that special meeting. So, those are things we need to be very careful. This morning, very early, I had some supporters from various zones, so it might be confusing on who was here. It was farmers from the four zones giving support, since they knew that this illegal meeting, something was passed that was not of great concern, because it was done illegally, so they came to support us if in case there was going to be somewhat of a negative approach towards those persons that conducted those meetings. We had presence of the police visiting the office to see that everything was within law. I just saw one person from Mr. Uk, and he left very quickly. He saw that we had at least sixty persons here at our office giving us support.”
