Wildlife hits the streets of Belize City tonight, courtesy of the latest art exhibit at the Bliss Institute. Terryl Godoy, the “Man at Work,” showcases his vast talent in “Wild Life and Street Scenes Exhibition.” News Five’s Janelle Chanona reports.

“I have given myself this name, “Man at Work” at least about half the years that I’ve been painting. I’ve been painting 19 years and I recognized that if I am going to paint on the street and the sun is going to like tear down on me, then I needed to call myself something. So I think it’s only me, so I gave myself the name, “Man at Work”.
They had a joint exhibition at the Flowers Show with the people and Gilvano and some of the other artists called me up and said, “Terryl, the Audubon is going to have a show, would you like to join up with us?” I said, “since it’s Audubon, I’d best do something with birds”. It captured the eyes and Christine said, “Terryl, this is wonderful. Maybe we can have a show.” And I said, “Okay, well let’s have a show.”
Godoy travels to Europe in July, where he launches this exhibition in Spain. He also hopes to paint the streets of London, Belgium, Germany, Scotland, Italy and France, among others.
The exhibition opens tonight at 8:00 p.m. and everyone can view the show from June 15th to the 19th beginning at 9:00 in the morning.
