More Schools Reopening
Since the reopening of schools on January tenth, there have been reports of teachers and students having COVID-19 but none of them were engaged in hybrid learning, and there have not been any reported COVID clusters originating at schools. Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Doctor Louis Zabaneh told News Five today that the reopening has proven to be so safe that others waiting to see how that first reopening would pan out are now prepared to join them.

“The earlier we can detect a child having flu-like symptoms, the earlier we can take actions that could otherwise spill out into some larger infections. So (having) those protocols in place have helped significantly to ensure that we can continue to keep the schools open, and in fact, other schools now that were waiting to open are also opening as well.”
