Miss Earth Destiny Wagner Named Sustainable Tourism Ambassador

Michelle Bowers

The protection of the environment, the provision of socio-economic benefits for surrounding communities and the conservation of cultural heritage are among the goals of the M.O.U.  To assist with the promotion of these objectives, Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner has been tapped by the B.T.B. as the country’s Sustainable Tourism Ambassador.

Michelle Bowers, Marketing Director, B.T.B.

“We are extremely excited to share with you today that joining us is Miss Earth’s Destiny Wagner who has graciously agreed to be Belize’s sustainable tourism ambassador for both our local and international markets. This occasion today is therefore a fitting one for us to make such an announcement as it solidifies our endeavours for sustainable tourism.”

“It is an honor to have represented Belize and to continue to represent Belize as we are on the forefront of sustainability and conservation. To Apamo, thank you for all that you have done and all of the efforts that you will continue to do. And I look forward to work beside Belize Tourism Board to not only promote, but protect our beautiful Belize. So, it is really important that we work together with our ministries as well as our non-profits as well as with our youth because when we are together and fighting for a great cause, there is nothing that we cannot achieve.”
