Youth kills himself in Belize City
The weekend started on a tragic note when a twenty year old student committed suicide late Friday Night. Carlos Burgos was found by his younger brother in his room at number one New Road at around ten o’clock. He was hanging with a dog’s leash around his neck. According to the Burgos family, he had grown depressed after he became a witness in a child abuse case; he told them he was being pressured by the family of the accused. Burgos was laid to rest on Sunday.
