Governor of Quintana Roo meets with Prime Minister

The new governor of the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico Joaquin Hendricks Diaz is on a familiarization visit. This afternoon he met with Prime Minister Said Musa and various officials of the Belize government. Governor Hendricks’ delegation includes the Ambassador to Belize Enrique Hubbard, Secretary for Economic Development Juan Manuel Marzuca, President of the Chamber of Commerce Mario Rendon, the Mayor of Chetumal, Eduardo Ovado Martinez and the Secretary of the Institute of Culture, Quintana Roo, Norma Jimenez. Hendricks will attend the opening of an exhibition by Mexican artist Antonieta Figueroa tonight at the Mexico/Belize Institute of Cooperation and Culture.
