Police Charge Roaring Creek Youth with Murder of Young Mother

In an update to a weekend story, police have charged a youth from Roaring Creek, Cayo for the shooting death of twenty year-old Karina Andrews. Nineteen year-old Jaheim Lopez was charged today for the murder in connection with Saturday night’s incident that left at least four others wounded. According to reports, Andrews and two female friends were getting a lift home from a night spot in Belmopan when another vehicle pulled up. And, an occupant fired shots into the van, killing Andrews and wounding Joshua Jones, Devon Vasquez, and Emerson Rhaburn.
