Ambassadors Present Credentials to Governor General

The Governor General, Froyla Tzalam, received the credentials of four new ambassadors to Belize at a virtual ceremony today. They are the non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Armella Shakaryan, non-resident ambassador of Colombia, Carlos Rodríguez Bocanegra, non-resident ambassador of France, Odile Roussel, and the non-resident ambassador of Argentina, Carlos Tomada.  The Governor General welcomed them and looks forward to meeting in person after the pandemic. For their part, the ambassadors conveyed their respective countries’ intention of cooperating with Belize in areas of climate change, conservation, and preservation of culture.
