Y.E.S. gets Janus funding
The Youth Enhancement Services received a donation for their catering program from the Janus Foundation. The gift of almost fifteen thousand dollars was handed over by Janus President Gabrielle Wollensack to the Minister of Human Development, Women and Youth Dolores Balderamos Garcia today at Y.E.S. in Ladyville. The funds are to assist the students complete courses in catering, baking, crafts and sewing. Over the last ten years 250 young women have attended Y.E.S. special programs designed for students who are unable to complete regular high school.
