Youth choir performs “Elephant’s Child”
“The Elephant’s Child,” an African folktale retold by Rudyard Kipling and set to music will be performed by the National Youth Choir this weekend. Saturday’s performance in Belmopan will include the Belmopan Children’s Choir and the Sunday show in Belize City will feature the Punta Gorda Children’s Choir as special guests. Additional works from Bach and Beethoven and selections from Belize will be on the program. Shows on both nights begin at 7 p.m. with special prices for children’s tickets.
