Police Find Three Unlicensed Guns Stashed Away; Two in San Pedro

Police have recovered three unlicensed guns stashed away in public spaces, two of them in San Pedro Town. Police conducted searches at around ten on Wednesday in the D.F.C. area and found a loaded nine millimeter pistol. No one was in the area.  The next night, police searched an abandoned lot in the San Pedrito area and found another nine millimeter handgun in some mangroves. On Thursday morning, police in Esperanza Village, Cayo searched an open area where they found yet another loaded nine millimeter pistol. In all cases, police did not see anyone in the area and labeled the guns as found property.
