Fire on Jasmine Street in Belize City over the Weekend
There was a house fire on Jasmine Street in Belize City over the weekend. Desiree Hamilton told police that she was in her room when she began to smell smoke. She was the one who discovered the fire and called police. Here is what police had to say about the incident.

“On Saturday the twelfth of March around twelve twenty a.m. Police got information of a house fire on Jasmine Street. Upon arrival they met fire personnel that have already extinguished the fire. But, the content of the house was already destroyed. Desiree Hamilton, thirty seven years old reported to police that she was inside her room when she smelt what appeared to be smoke coming from outside. When she stepped outside her room she saw the house engulfed in flame. The estimated costs of damages are not known to us as yet. Fire Department is leading this investigation to establish if it was caused by some accelerant or something you know.”
