Robbery Victim Doesn’t Tell Police How Much Was Taken

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Northern Belize. The victim, however, did not want to tell police how much money was stolen. Police are looking for a red four door car whose occupants are reported to have held up Alexis Canton on Saturday.

“We can’t establish what is the amount of property that was stolen because the complainant is saying an undisclosed amount of cash. But, we know that on Saturday March twelfth, Alexis Cantun reported to the police that the he was on the Palmar Boundary Road when a red four door car stopped in front of him. Two men exited with what appeared to be a firearm. They assaulted him and stole and undisclosed amount of cash from him. He ran to a nearby house to seek help.”
