An Event for Women Needing Guidance with Managing a Business and the Home

Aside from the free pampering that will be given, Saturday’s event will also include women speakers who will offer guidance to other women on how to manage their home and businesses. So if you’re looking for some sound advice on these matters, Acting President of the Ahmadiyya Women’s Organization, Maham Ullah says this is an event you need to attend.

“We also have a book stall where you can get like information about our community. We will also have a stall where you can try on a hijab. We can wrap it for you and you can take a selfie maybe. Our goal in life is just to do different initiatives to help support the community. And this one’s really important because we’re trying to empower women and our goal for this program was that we want to have different small businesses or big businesses that are run by ladies and empower them for them to come now and sell their food, sell their jewelry, sell their clothes, so we’re trying to do different businesses and we’re also going to have a few ladies come and speak to us about their different struggles of how it is managing a household, how it is managing a business alongside that.”

The event starts at ten in the morning and wraps up at four in the evening. The venue is the Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque at mile one and a half on the George Price Highway in Belize City.
