Call Center Seeking More Employees

It is not secret that the B.P.O. sector contributes to a high percentage of employment in Belize.  Jacqueline Canul, Human Resource Manager says the company takes pride in treating its call center employees as valuable members of a team who have the potential for long term professional development.

“We are very proud to be here today, simply because we are not maybe known country wide but maybe more in the western part of Belize. However, when it comes to employment, we have more than one hundred three thousand employees scattered all over the country. One for the grand things that also impacts and benefit us as well is that we hire a lot of millennial and centennials and they bring in a lot of energy. Many of them because of the unemployment rate in Belize. It is a little bit high. They feel that no one is going to care for them. But, we do here at The Office Gurus and we do take pride in that. If you are a, millennial or a centennial and you have absolutely no call center experience, well come on to The Office Gurus. We are going to help you. We are going to give you all the resources that you need. We are going to mold you and take you to the next level. A lot of our employees they come here and they want only a summer job and part time job, and now they are supervisors and managers.”

Again, The Office Gurus open house will run from nine a.m. to three p.m. at their Belmopan branch, tomorrow Saturday March nineteenth.
