Methodist Mission gets funds for building
The Methodist Mission has received some welcome assistance today for the completion of their multipurpose center on Albert Street. Area Representative Mark Espat handed over sixty thousand dollars from the Government of Belize today to Reverend Leslie Anderson for the facility. It will house a theatre, a neighborhood medical clinic, meeting rooms and offices and be the headquarters for community programs in areas such as home economics. Wesley High School Principal Brenda Armstrong also received the first contribution towards the school’s feeding program from the Albert Division Committee. Programs already being funded include those at Wesley Infant, James Garbutt Primary School, Anglican Cathedral College and Sunshine Pre-School.
