Young Christians hold concert

This Saturday the New Beginnings Ministries of Dangriga invites you to their second concert in Belize City. Michael Evans, the band leader for Two Roadz says it will be an intense concert filled with dance routines and drama. Evans says the goal is to show the youths of Belize that there is a solution to the problems they face and it involves having a meaningful relationship with God. Evans told us more about this weekend’s concert and the group’s new compact disk.

“Well this year we have expanded the show in all of the different areas. We are adding a dance group and drama team that we did not have last year and we are doing a lot of new songs added to the CD. So it should be a packed show, longer than our first show with a whole lot more activities in there.

We just decided let’s do it. And the thing about the group is that if they do something they do it to the best of their ability. So when the question was asked, what are you going to do, just the cassette? We decided no. If we are going to put in a lot of money, a lot of time into it might as well we go all the way and do the CD and that’s how we did the CD. We did the CD the summer of last year and we released it in October of last year.”

Tickets for Saturday’s show at the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall will be available at the door for five dollars for adults and two dollars for children.
