Mother refusing to cooperate in indecent assault of minor

Nineteen year old Percival Torres will be taken to Magistrate’s Court tomorrow to answer to a charge of indecent assault. According to the police the twelve year old revealed to them that she had been having sexual intercourse with Torres since 1998. Her last sexual encounter with him was on April first. Police say that the girl suspects she is pregnant with Torres’ child. They say that while they are looking out for the best interest of the minor the mother of the girl is refusing to cooperate because she lives with Torres’ father. They say that if she remains unwilling to assist with the investigation she will be arrested for defilement of a minor.
