There was a cold-blooded murder committed in Belize City last night when a resident of Petticoat Alley was shot and killed not far from where he lived. The incident is being investigated by the Belize Police Department, but there hasn’t been much by way of official information. Earlier today, News Five spoke with uncle of the victim.

On Wednesday night, when twenty-seven-year-old Windell Neal left to purchase a small quantity of marijuana in Rhaburn’s Alley, it would be the last time that his loved ones would see him alive. Less than five minutes later, Windell’s uncle was informed of a fatal shooting incident a short distance away from their home in Petticoat Alley.

According to police, Neal was along with several persons who visited an establishment on Victoria Street to purchase alcohol before making their way back to Rhaburn’s Alley where they began to socialize. It is unclear what precipitated the attack. What is known is that someone approached him shortly thereafter and fired a single shot in his direction.
