Courts draws five winners

Five lucky Courts customers will share a ten thousand dollar Millennium Mania prize from Courts Belize. Their names were drawn today from boxes sent into the Belize City branch from the districts. There is also a special March Madness prize. News Five spoke with Advertising and Promotions Executive Anamarie Bennett about today’s winners.

“We divided it in such a way that we could have a winner in each branch. And we had a winners from: Belmopan – James Blackman, from Belize City – Oscar Hoare, San Ignacio – Consuelo Lopez, Orange Walk – Abraham Elias and Dangriga actually from Independence – Paul Linares. And they all take home $2,000 making it a total of $10,000. The best part about it is that we pay the tax so they actually take home their $2,000.”

Q: “You also had a special item this morning where one lucky shopper gets to take home what they purchased for free?”

“Yes, this was one of our promotions. Each month we always have a fantastic promotion running and this one was called, “March Madness.” The customers got one entry to enter this draw and they got a chance to win their purchase free. And they also got fantastic discounts for as much as 50 percent during March.”

Today’s winners will receive their checks later this week. This is the first Millennium Mania Draw with five more draws scheduled this year ranging from ten thousand dollars to the grand fifty thousand dollar prize in December. In all, Courts will be giving one hundred and ten thousand dollars back to lucky customers. All taxes are being paid by Courts.
