Salvapan resident stabbed to death

A stabbing incident in Salvapan over the weekend has also resulted in death. Belmopan police received a phone call around two Sunday morning. When they reached an area outside of Salvapan, they found Freddie Marroquin lying on the ground apparently suffering from stab wounds. Eyewitnesses told police that twenty year old Niglas Montejo and seventeen year old Manolo Gomez got into a quarrel with Marroquin and stabbed him. His neck was broken and he had stab wounds to the left collarbone and one of his ribs. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Belmopan Hospital. The two men are being questioned by police.
