Mayors announced for town boards

New Mayors and deputy Mayors have been chosen in major towns across the country. Today the Ministry of Local Government announced the results. In San Pedro, Ambergris Caye the Mayor is Alberto Nuñez Sr., deputy Alfredo Salazar Jr. In Corozal the Mayor is Herman Ramirez, deputy Rolando Alcoser and in Orange Walk Reynaldo Burgos is Mayor and his deputy Adrian Leiva. In Punta Gorda, Mayor Lee Usher will be assisted by deputy Luke Palacio and in Dangriga Simeon Norales is Mayor and Francis Flores deputy Mayor. Out west, Desmond Berry is the mayor of San Ignacio and Albert Bradley is the deputy. And of course in Belize City the new Mayor is David Fonseca and the deputy Merilyn Young.
