Money missing from B.T.L. again

Information reaching News Five today is that employees of the Belize Telecommunications Limited Corozal branch are being questioned after a recent audit revealed that over eleven thousand dollars is missing from the company funds. News Five contacted B.T.L. office this afternoon and it was confirmed that indeed there are missing funds from the Corozal branch but the company is remaining tightlipped. Earlier this year B.T.L. cashier Harrison Collins fled the country after he was alleged to have stolen over sixty thousand dollars from the B.T.L. Church Street office. Police still have no leads as to the whereabouts of Collins, although three people who allegedly assisted him have been charged.
