Fatal Stabbing in Calcutta; A Mother of Three is Killed

A mother of three was stabbed to death overnight in Calcutta Village, following a physical altercation with her common-law husband on Thursday night. Thirty-three-year-old Tracy Thompson was found shortly before six a.m. today with multiple injuries to her body. It is believed that those injuries were inflicted by Devon Logan with whom she had a confrontation prior to him being chased away from the residence. The shop attendant subsequently retired to her room, only for Logan to allegedly return sometime later and cause deadly harm on Thompson. Her lifeless body was discovered this morning by a family friend. The body was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where it was pronounced dead on arrival.
