Man charged with assaulting niece

Thirty-five year old Raymond Allen will be spending time in Hattievlle Prison for allegedly sexually molesting his twelve year old niece. Police say on Thursday Evadney Allen of St. Ann’s Village in the Belize District accompanied her twelve year old granddaughter to the police station where the minor reported that her uncle Raymond Allen had molested her. The little girl also showed police a vamp mark on her neck which she says her uncle inflicted. Allen appeared in Magistrate’s Court today and was charged for attempted rape and aggravated assault. He has been remanded to the Hattieville Prison until March twenty-sixth.
