Nuñez says victory result of hard work

According to the man who garnered the greatest number of votes, Marshall Nuñez, the P.U.P. victory boiled down to a simple, but time tested formula: hard work.

“We had to go out there, myself and all the other candidates, we went from division to division throughout the city. We did all the type of work that we could which we felt was meritorious enough to take us into the election, but we didn’t take that for granted. We go house to house, dialogue with the residents of this city; we heard their concerns and their complaints. And during that period we tried to address as many of them as we could, but we actually went out there and campaigned as rigid as we possibly could.”
