New J.P.s appointed
New Justices of the Peace will be sworn in this weekend by the Acting Chief Justice Troadio Gonzalez. Five J.P.s: Joe Erales, Charles B. Hyde Sr., Arthur McKenzie, Evadne Grant and Carlos Diaz will also be elevated to the status of Senior Justice of the Peace. The J.P.s are appointed by the Attorney General and are chosen based on their record of distinguished service to their community. Swearing in ceremonies will be held this Saturday at the Old Assembly Chamber in the Public Building in Belize City. The Attorney General Dickie Bradley will give the keynote address.
