Corozal man charged with attempted murder

In other news from Corozal, a man has been charged with attempted murder after he reportedly chopped a man in the Alta Mira area. Police say on the twenty seventh of February fifty year old Stephen Staubs was found outside his home with chop wounds to his forehead and arm. There was a machete at his side. Inside the house police discovered Jerry Robateau with multiple chop wounds to his head and both knees and hands. Both men were taken to the Corozal Hospital, but Robateau was transferred to the K.H.M.H. Staubs has been charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm.
