Mayor Nunez Says San Pedro Town Council has Planned Dia de San Pedro

Mayor Nunez told us that in the interest of drawing business to the island, the council has gone ahead to plan San Pedro Day or Dia de San Pedro.

“We decided that this year we wanted to go big with the Dia de San Pedro festivities because that’s our patron’s day – Dia de San Pedro, San Pedro Day that we want to make a festival and that’s why we decided to go with that. We would really want to see more and more events happening. We know that B.T.B. has a plan for September. August, September and October are usually the slowest months for tourism here on the island, so if we’re having something in September, which is a really slow month, so we’re going to have the festival for B.T.B. and we’re also planning for our September celebrations.”
