Denise Pitts Wants Justice for Police Brutality

Pitts, a mother of four, paid over five thousand dollars for surgery, where she says that the procedure involved using a screw to join the broken bone. She wants justice and needs assistance because she will be out of work for the next three months. It’s a most horrific experience which Pitts says was a night of enjoyment gone terribly wrong.

“Three months and I went to make my report to the police station and they told me that they will look into it because it is going to be a long investigation.”

“I do not know him by the name, but if I do see him, I can identify the officer. And that’s all I am asking for, the help. Right now I have four children – two that I am taking care of and two that is mine by birth. And I can’t help my kids if I am out of a job. And just one night of enjoyment turn out into this and I don’t know what else I could do ‘cause I just need the help. I just want the officers to try speed up this cause I know they find out dah who mi deh ina da trooper that night and find out who was working and they could make I identify this officer so I could get whatsoever he’s taken from me. This was very…I call this unfair because it was off guard. He didn’t have to slam me like that.”

“That’s the thing. I was not doing anything to the officer but asking him why I am not allowed to go back in when I was not involved in the fight.”

Pitts says that the surgery will allow for a speedy healing process, but maintains that she wants justice.
